Allowing Cause 128 to be enacted will mean that Water Fluoridation will be controlled by Government from Whitehall. Despite new proposals being subjected to Public Consultations, it will be difficult to remonstrate against future WF proposals because it would be like sending a letter into a black hole. Whilst proposals remain with Local Authorities, it is far easier to meet with and discuss issues with Councillors. The website www.newfc.org.uk discusses public consultations in respect of Water Fluoridation.
Clause 129 proposes altering existing contracts and "disappearing" variations which in some cases ought to trigger a Public Consultation. Although Public Consultations are unsatisfactory because current law states that the Local Authority has the final word, they are the best method for voting against WF which is currently available.
STOP PRESS: Dr Chris Whitty confirmed yesterday (24th September 2021) in the national press that the plans are to fluoridate the entire UK.
